Anthony "Tony" Thurston passed away peacefully on November 23, 2005.  He was a Biology Professor for many years. Tony was well know for his collection and knowledge of minerals and fossils. He was a member of the Worcester Mineral Club for 56 years.

Tony and his wife Dorothy sold minerals out of their home in Boylston for many years, and were also frequently spotted at local area mineral shows.  They would always seem to go out of their way to share their passion for minerals and nature's wonders.

There will be a Service of Celebration of his life on December 3, 2005 at 11 AM at the First Congregational Church, 10 Church Street, Boylston, MA
