Attended: Mark, Stephanie & Zachary Goodwin, Larry & Evan Johnson, Josef Amuer (Evans Friend), And Nancy Kangas.

Saturday - Clean up was a little wet as it rained on and off most of the day. There seemed to be a lot of rubble that was left by others. The whole right side of the claim is loaded with rubble. If everyone who uses the claim picks up a few wheel barrels full, it will be gone soon. We have also been building too much wall and probably should start dumping the rubble again. The property owner has fallen a lot of trees this spring so our path is blocked near the beginning. Evan and Josef were kind enough to cut all the limbs and branches that were blocking most path from where it starts to climb up hill, all the way to the claim. We overloaded the wheel barrel at one point and deflated the tire so the tire now has the right amount of air in it. We didn’t finish cleaning up until around 1:00 or 2:00 and finished out the day finding small crystals.

Sunday – Started out a little cool (37 degrees). Nancy, Evan
Josef and I started around 8:00 am. Again just small pieces. Evan and Josef found what we think might have been wild turkey eggs and took some pictures. If anyone can identify them as something else please let us know.  Around noon Ed Anderson and family showed up and the Goodwin’s about a half an hour later. Not much to report for the afternoon except the weather was great.

-          If you haven’t been up here in a long time, the out house is gone

-         The area under the stump has be undercut a little too much please be careful!

-         They didn’t touch the eggs. Just wanted to show how big they are.
